No idea why this movie was getting such amazing reviews....

Depressing, depressing, depressing.

Yes, the performances were decent...mind you, I thought Kate's was just okay. Leo's was top notch, but the really excellent performance came from Michael Shannon. Although he was considered the one with the mental health problems, he seemed like the one with the most realistic opinions, and had a knack of reading people's minds. He just didn't know when to shut up.

Did I mention that this movie is depressing?

Oh, and by the way.

Depressing.

Didn't see the ending coming. Assumed it would be something just as bad, but not as bad....if that makes any sense. I would have rathered the ending in my head over the one they chose.
